    We are currently seeking an experienced Recruiter to create and execute a responsive recruiting plan to fulfill our high volume volunteer needs in our CrisisLink Hotline and Textline programs.

     What the job entails:

    • Devise and implement creative sourcing strategies to generate a robust and superior volunteer pipeline to meet hiring targets and support diversity of persons served.
    • Build relationships with hiring management to serve as a trusted advisor.
    • Generate qualified volunteer candidates through cost-effective efforts.
    • Lead all volunteer recruitment activities (online platform, online applicants), interview process to include schedule qualified candidate interviews with hiring management, hire, onboarding activities, and when applicable, data collection for the exit process.
    • Maintain accurate volunteer recruitment files to meet compliance and organization standards; process and analyze volunteer database reports for effective recruitment and retention.
    • Attend and represent PRS, Inc. at community outreach events, fairs and trainings for volunteer recruitment.
    • Serve as communication liaison for everyone involved in staffing process.

    Profile of Successful Candidate:

    • BA or BS degree preferred or combination of education and related work experience.
    • Successful experience with working in a fast-paced, high-volume full life-cycle recruiting environment; work within a human service nonprofit which utilizes volunteers for direct service highly desired.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a dynamic, mission motivated, client-focused environment, showing professional maturity and savvy.
    • Ability to use a variety of creative sourcing techniques.
    • Flexibility in schedule to meet volunteer availability (evenings and weekends when necessary)
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, presentation and writing skills.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in computer applications relevant to this position, i.e., MSOffice (PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher and Word).
    • High degree of empathy toward individuals with suicidal thoughts, serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and facing life crisis.
