WHAT: A Friendly Atmosphere for Your Volunteers
WHEN: Wednesday, September 14, 2016
Noon – 1:30 p.m.
WHERE: Parks, Recreation & Community Services Building
20145 Ashbrook Place, Suite 170, Ashburn, VA 20175
WHY: You may successfully attract volunteers to your organization, but how do you keep them coming back? An attitude of gratitude goes a long way. Offer respect, kindness, openness, caring and trust and you will be sure to reap the returns many times over. Franklin Park Arts Center VSA Volunteer Coordinator Kellie Goossens will lead a roundtable discussion about five gracious ways to create a friendly atmosphere for your volunteers.
Drinks and light refreshments will be provided. Admission is free, but registration is requested in order to adequately prepare seating and handouts. Please register via email to debra.bressler@loudoun.gov by Monday, September 12, 2016 to reserve your seat.
The mission of Volunteer Manager Network is to foster an open and unselfish exchange of information and ideas.
