Leading volunteers and employees can be very similar. People are people, right? There are many lessons and skills gained from leading volunteers that will carry over to employee supervision. However, there are also important distinctions. In this session, we will discuss the presenter’s lessons learned from 10+ years of leading volunteers and staff. This session is designed for leaders of volunteers who are new to employee supervision or who would like to make the transition to supervising employees.
