Join NVAVA on the afternoon of Thursday, July 28, to hear guest speaker Marcia Hale, CVA, address overcoming burnout. Many leaders of volunteers are having very real physical responses to the prolonged stresses of the pandemic combined with the intense people-focus of our work. We cope with constant demands from our organizations, struggle with limited resources to meet those demands, manage a greater number of direct reports than anyone else at our workplaces, and must keep volunteers engaged in the mission instead of going rogue. Is it any wonder that many volunteer managers get burned out?
At the upcoming NVAVA training Marcia will share some actionable ideas to help overcome burnout and reignite your passion for your role. Her presentation will give you tools to help assess your strengths and passions, and identify ways to overcome your greatest sources of stress.
Join us on Thursday, July 28, at 3:30* p.m. on Zoom (link will be sent to registered attendees) for a 90-minute presentation.
*Please note this training is at a different time than our normal trainings, as our speaker is located on the west coast!
