Please join the Northern Virginia Association of Volunteer Administrators (NVAVA) for a panel discussion about the impact of change on volunteer managers on Thursday, March 17th. We’ll start at 9:00 with some social time and general updates, and then will get the panel discussion started sometime between 9:15 and 9:30 a.m. We will start to wrap up at 10:45 and should end by 11:00 a.m.
The focus of the panel is how we as volunteer leaders, managers, coordinators, and administrators, have changed as a result of the last two years. We’ve all experienced tremendous upheavals in our worlds, and as professional leaders of volunteers we have been the pivot point for our volunteers and programs—this is a chance for us to unpack what it has meant for us personally and professionally.
Join panelists Tim Suda (Disaster Workforce Engagement Manager for the Red Cross in Atlanta), Dorothy Keenan (Founder and Executive Director of Grandinvolve in Fairfax County), and Paige Kreinar (Director of Program Services for Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic) as we explore how the last two years have changed us!
